Problems

Sometime I feel that there are a lot of pressure on us in this world, but not on everybody. All of us are struggling with our own problems. they might be small problem for someone could be a big problem for someone else and no problem for another person. What I want to know is how do you deal with them when they occur, and when you think you are under too much pressure. I know sometime it could be worse, but the problem it self.

John Casablancas Asked me for my Designs

Yesterday I was asked from John Casablancas if I can bring my projects from last term of my illustration to school so my works could be good examples. I got %95 on my illustration last term. The thing is I don't  know if I bring my works, are they gonna loose them or damage them. Maybe the best thing is I ask them to copy them.

I really like the new designs of Versace!  There is a great harmony in her designs, and the whole combination of colors fabric and silhouettes are just very eye catching.

I Love Studying Fashion

I got back my teminalogy binder and I got 100% for the second half. Great! :) I did very well in general in most of my courses. I got 93% on my midterm, the highest mark in class, for retailing which was something that I really enjoyed and learnt a lot. 91% for my midterm visual display which was the second highest mark in my class. and I got 89% on my illustration which I love and I spent a lot of time. I think BCIT really got me ready and tought me how to study. I never enjoyed studying this much before, other than my English and German classes that I took before. Lets wait and see what I will do with what I learn... :)

Vancouver Art Gallery

On Tuesday I went to Vancouver Art Gallery with my classmates for my Fashion Elements course. The name of the gallery was "Collecting Matisse and Modern Masters

The Cone Sisters of Baltimore". There were paintings of 2 sisters in 1880's who collected the unique and great paintings of some of the artists of their era. We had a gallery leader who showed us around and described a few paintings in the gallery. While he was talking I was taking notes and drawing the same paintings. Now I have a great collection of quick sketch of our visit to vancouver art gallery. We also watch a 20 minutes movie upstairs in the gallery which was created by Yang Fudong, Fifth Night. Great great piece of art! 5 cameras capturing one scene, but you won't able to see other cameras, and the whole story was so mystorious. I think this is something that people in film industry must see.

Now I have to choose one of those paintings in the gallery and draw 6 flats and illustration. fun! I put 2 pictures of my quick sketches...

Flower from Heavan! Do you know the name of this flower?

This flower has been on our breakfast table for almost 2 months now. Could you believe that? whithout roots. I bought this for my mom on May 13, 2012, but the flower has not changed it's look. You could not resist looking at it because of its beautiful and unique color combinations. The blue color takes you to heavan... Now it's July 6, 2012 and our beautiful flower looks like this:

Flats Assignment

It's 11:44pm and I'm working on my flats assignment for my Elements of design course which is due tomorrow. I'm done with basic dresses, tops, skirts, and pants. Only the bodices is left. Right now I'm searching for 4-darts, shoulder princess, basic knit, and unfitted. I need to go back to my assignment and get it done quickly...

Social Media is Amazing...

I just signed up for my Pinterest. Such a great place to show what you like and keep the interesting photos in any area you like and also let everyone else see that too. I could easily pin any photos that I like from style.com, the fashion website, and add it to my fashion board on my pinterest. It's a great way for me to keep track of my fashion designs that I like and also architecture photos. It's like a look book... I just love it! Fashionistas, this is a great website!

Well, I just started writing my first post. I am so excited to start my blog. :) I need to read more blogs to see what I need to do to have a great blog.
